A very beautiful & ancient Portuguese castle or fort, built in 1506 in Mogador, also known as the modern Essaouira. In the 18th century, following the plans to build the Essaouira modern city and fortifications by Mohammed ben Abdallah. It’s the 18th-century fortifications, named the “Scala del Mar”.
