#NewLaunch – What is expected to be included in the “One Airtel” plan?
Managing bills and deadlines is a constant struggle of modern life. While many customers struggle with missed payments and various reminders most of us have accepted it as a part and parcel of life. Whether you are managing a DTH account which has to be recharged every month or a postpaid account which generates a bill periodically, you have to admit that it would have been much more convenient to just get one bill for all accounts that you have and take care of that on a monthly basis.
There is good news around the corners as the rumored “One Airtel” plan from the telecom giant Airtel is rumored to be launched soon. Media sources claim that the plan will provide relief to customers who avail various Airtel services such as Airtel Broadband, Airtel postpaid and Airtel DTH accounts but have to pay for them separately. While there are no announcements from the Airtel yet, experts believe that it will soon be.
Airtel has already clubbed some of its services through Airtel Home plan which has a combined billing for DTH, Broadband and Postpaid connection. Through this you can club your existing plan of DTH, Airtel Broadband and Airtel postpaid connection to make a home. If you have a prepaid connection that you wish to add to your Airtel Home, it will be converted to Postpaid and added to the Airtel Home plan. You also get a dedicated call center to answer all of your queries about any of these services.
Here is what the One Airtel plan; one of the best Airtel postpaid plans is expected to be.
• All One Airtel plans are expected to be single bill plans combining services of Airtel postpaid connection plans, Airtel DTH, Airtel broadband and subscription to streaming services such as Amazon Prime, Zee5, Airtel Xstream and others.
• The plans will be tiered with different allocation of the four elements and there are expected to be at least four tiers. The base tier is expected to be priced at INR 899 and is expected to have two postpaid connections, DTH channels worth INR 413, 85 GB of monthly data, 100 SMS per day and unlimited voice calls. Free access to Airtel Xstream, Wynk music, Zee 5 and Amazon Prime membership are also included but it doesn’t come with a broadband connection.
• After that we have a plan at INR 1349 with all benefits of 899 plan, plus two additional connections (total four connections), 180 GB of total mobile data, as well as option to add-on data at INR 99 but no broadband with this plan either.
• The INR 1399 plan comes with all goodies such as unlimited calling, 100 daily SMS, 80 GB of monthly data, 100 daily SMS, and a broadband plan with 500 GB data at 100 MBPS speed and a landline connection with unlimited calls. No DTH is included with this plan.
• The top plan of INR 1899 has all benefits of 1399 plan with 3 postpaid connections, and also an Airtel Xstream DTH box connection. 95 GB of total data is provided as well as free access to OTT plans.
As a few details of the plans may change, the plans still seem well packaged and competitively priced to give stiff competition to the upcoming Jio plans.
